THE GENESIS OF A GLOBAL MOVEMENT
2006
It began in Toronto with a simple idea: 62 dancers gathering to break a world record for the largest simultaneous Thriller dance. Organized by Ines Markeljevic, this small sparked a worldwide phenomenon.
2008
The event officially became "Thrill The World." Over 4,000 people across 10 nations rose in unison. Beyond the dance, the focus shifted toward humanitarian efforts, establishing the tradition of dancing for local charities.
BEYOND
Today, thousands of "Zombies" in over 30 countries participate simultaneously. It has evolved into a masterclass of community coordination, celebrating Michael Jackson's artistry while providing vital support to hundreds of non-profits worldwide.
The movement continues to prove that dance is a universal language capable of bridging cultures and creating real-world impact through collective action.
